https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/comments/74myqd/huge_airbus_landing_in_germany_during_storm/dnznlaw/Pilot. They had some pilot induced oscillating after touchdown from the nose not being lined up with the runway. Hard part about crosswinds is the gusts. If they came in corrected for a sustained wind, got a gust and correct for it, it snatches right back out and you've crabbed too much and your nose is off center; bad deal. You also put your wind side wing down to prevent getting knocked off centerline, and that has to be danced in, landing ideally on the wheels on that side. Probably different for an A380.
Overall a good landing, reduced the oscillation, didn't overcorrect, probably in crosswinds over the manufacturer recommended, and I didn't see anything break. Rudder inputs like that on the runway are pretty dicey.

To get a better idea I would need to know what the winds were like. Basically, the rudder inputs seemed a little slow and they weren’t aligned with the runway when touching down (either due to being too slow correcting, different technique, or wind conditions) so they oscillated side to side. It worked out, but I’m guessing they were pretty sweaty.
Impressive that the A380 can handle exceptionally bad piloting, yes.
https://www.reddit.com/r/aviation/c...80_crosswind_landing_wind_gust_after/dnzi2g3/I was gonna say, there was no turning going on apart from the rudder inputs. That's some insane overcontrolling. I don't know what it is with Emirates, but I don't see many good things about their pilots
