VANCOUVER (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines (DAL.N: Quote) said on Tuesday it is in talks with WestJet Airlines Ltd (WJA.TO: Quote) on an alliance but that no deal has been reached.
"Delta has been in conversations with WestJet on a code-sharing agreement that would enable us to connect customers to more destinations in Canada, while allowing WestJet to access Delta's leading global network," the carrier said in an e-mailed response to a question from Reuters.
"Nothing has been finalized," a Delta spokesman added."
