NovAir Armenia is operating domestic flights from Yerevan to Kapan twice weekly (Monday and Friday) with a Let L-410 UVP-E20, registration EK4117. The schedule is as following:
NG1001 EVN-YUK 10:00 - 10:45
NG1002 YUK-EVN 12:00 - 12:45
Price is 40.000 AMD return or 20.000 AMD oneway. The flights can be prebooked via Atlantis Tour on WhatsApp: +374 55 547547. Payment by cash only at their office in Yerevan, 29 Sayat-Nova Ave. They're also open on Sundays!
Flights are VFR so if there's bad weather they will get cancelled. This is what happened since 10th May when the flights were operated the last time. I got lucky today with just a few clouds but otherwise VFR conditions.
The flight appears on the departure board inside the terminal, but check-in actually happens at the old VIP terminal just east of the new terminal building. The lady at the information counter also had to call some numbers first as she had no clue herself.
Process is easy and straightforward, the check-in agent offered me a free coffee from a vending machine while waiting for the remaining four passengers.
Cruising altitude is 11000ft, and the scenery is amazing!
