IHG Hotels & Resorts is to launch its first Noted Collection by IHG hotel in the former Birch Cheshunt site in Hertfordshire.

Neetu Mistry, managing director for UK & Ireland at IHG, told The Caterer the Theobalds Estate property is a “hallmark of how we see the brand moving forward” and expected the hotel to open “before the end of this year”.

The signing of the first Noted Collection property comes just one month after IHG revealed its 21st brand, which it said is defined by “individual character, setting and story”.
