No-Show Penalty for International Flights
From April 1, 2016, Asiana Airlines will be initiating its “No-Show Penalty Policy”. Under this policy, passengers who reserve a flight ticket, then cancel after a flight has departed will be subject to additional fees. Asiana Airlines would like to thank all passengers for their understanding and cooperation regarding this matter. Together, we can maintain a culture of advanced reservations and minimize any loss due to last-minute cancellations.
Effective Date: April 1, 2016 (based on ticketing date)
Affected Passengers: Asiana Airlines passengers with an international flight ticket requesting a last-minute cancellation after a flight has departed
* When passenger did not notice the cancellation of confirmed ticket by their own reason, reissue fee and also the refund fee will be charged separately.
Fee Amount - When the fee collected in Korea: KRW 100,000
- When the fee collected in other country: USD 100
