MANILA -- The Philippine Airlines (PAL) canceled Monday 14 international flights and 40 domestic flights due to operational problems.

The Manila International Airport Authority, in its advisory, said the international flights cancelled were:

* PR 318 and PR 312 (Manila-Hong Kong)
* PR 319 and PR 313 (Hong Kong-Manila)
* PR 501 (Manila-Singapore)
* PR 512 (Singapore-Manila)
* PR 732 (Manila-Bangkok)
* PR 733 (Bangkok-Manila)
* PR 352 (Manila-Macau)
* PR 353 (Macau-Manila)
* PR 416 (Manila-Busan)
* PR 417 (Busan-Manila)
* PR 758 (Manila-New Delhi)
* PR 110 (Manila-Guam)

Forty domestic flights, which were cancelled, include those to and from Cebu City, Davao City, Bacolod City, Laoag City, Roxas City, Cagayan de Oro City, Legazpi City, Butuan City, and Dumaguete City. (Sunnex)

Streik, geht m.W. um Outsourcingpläne im Bereich des Bodenpersonals. Soll wohl recht heiß hergehen, Mitarbeiter der Gepäckabfertigung werden beschuldigt, Maschinen zu zerstören etc.
