A380 Probleme mit Rissen....Flieger stillgelegt.
QANTAS has taken one of its flagship A380 aircraft out of service for up to a week after engineers discovered 36 hairline cracks in its wings during detailed inspections.
The airline stressed last night that the cracks - none longer than about two centimetres - were not as serious as those discovered by the manufacturer, Airbus, last month that prompted European regulators to order urgent inspections of almost a third of the worldwide fleet within six weeks.
Qantas has discovered cracks in the two double-deck A380s it has so far inspected.
