Von UA zu NZ auf 2 Tickets: Gepäck durchchecken möglich?

Hallo,

ich fliege mit United Express (UA-Flugnummer) von SEA-LAX und dann LAX-LHR-FRA mit NZ auf zwei Tickets. Zeit in LAX sind 3 Stunden.

Ich weiß, dass UA und NZ eine Interline Agreement haben und laut NZ dies ist die Bedingung fürs Gepäckdurchchecken. Aber wie geht UA damit um? Vor allem bei 2 separaten Tickets?

Die MCT am LAX müsste locker eingehalten sein, musst du nur noch einen kompetenten Mitarbeiter am Schalter erwischen - dass es zwei Tickets sind, ist an sich egal.

If you have a connecting flight with another airline, your baggage may be through-checked if Air New Zealand has an interline agreement with the other airline. Your flights must also all be on the same ticket. If your flights are ticketed separately, baggage may only be through-checked if your tickets are issued in conjunction with each other. Please contact your booking agent if you are unsure whether your baggage may be through-checked.

Das klingt eher als würde es dann am Rückflug eine Rolle spielen, also wenn NZ auf UA weiterchecken soll.

Nachdem man nach Ankunft in den USA das Gepäck so oder so selbst durch den Zoll bringen muss, ist es von NZ auf UA im Zweifelsfall irrelevant
