LHR LGW for July 2000 has plenty of track records (in different files!) for UA979 and 976 for JFK-LHR-JFK
2000-07-22 UAL979 LHR JFK 1700 ---- N660UA
2000-08-20 UAL976 JFK LHR ---- 2020 N659UA

I have an email (from back in 2000) with the flight info and it says 979 for the outgoing flight. I see two possibilities the first is that 979 "continued" to EZE after getting to JFK. I've noticed with lots of (especially for US operated airlines) flights that the same flight number is used for multiple different flights. The other is that there is a typo in the email. I saw that there are some timetables on ebay, i'll see if I can get some additional information once i'm home again in a few days.

When I compare the regs on LHR-Logs then I would say there was an aircraft change.

Hey @zeus1309 was hast Du da für abgefahrene records? 8 Stunden FRA-MUC, aircraft owner YY, RESCL, REISL, WACSS als reg?
ist deine Such-Automatik steil gegangen? Oder sind das non-flight records, irgendwelche ramp agents / devices?

zeus hatte Dir 2 Flüge angeboten, was passt da nicht? (oder hast Du's nur übersehen?)

@bursche99 guter punkt. sollte ich noch rausfiltern. dabei handelt es sich um Busse/LKWS oder Züge mit Flugnummern.
