During the month of May, Radisson Rewards inadvertently sent some emails to the wrong members. Those impacted are a small percentage of Radisson Rewards members in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Member information exposed was limited to member first name, last-four digits of the sixteen-digit member number, point balance, member tier, number of hotel stays in 2019 and the member email address to another Radisson Rewards member.
We are writing to inform you that your account was one of the member accounts impacted by this incident.
Upon identifying this issue on 23 May 2019, Radisson Rewards immediately halted all Email communications and began an investigation. Based on the investigation, we can confirm that our network integrity is secure, and all member accounts are secure. Impacted member accounts have been flagged to monitor for any potential unauthorized behavior and we have identified the risk of unauthorized behavior as very low. We have also requested that members delete any e-mails they may have received inadvertently.
Radisson Rewards takes this incident very seriously and is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident to help prevent similar incidents from happening again in the future and has notified, or is in the process of notifying, regulatory authorities.
