I think this is something we need to talk about
Some habits can die...
At the end of the day, in this forum something like "routine" doesn't exist
Rest assured, there are no routine coupons/promotion codes/etc. for the KVS Tool.
Welcome to the KVS Tool!
Don't forget to complete the Registration Wizard form so that your Permanent Registration Code can be issued.
Why can't KVSTOOL search awards for 5 persons ? This method supports a maximum of 4 seats ?
Please use the new [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Method in the KVS Tool, which supports searches for up to 8 passengers.
Unfortunately, the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] engine is having difficulty with the EUR-ZA routings -- please try adding a 'dummy' North America-EUR segment as a work-around:With 5 it's working however ITA with 4 returns the following error message: (for MUC-CPT on 30.12.2011)

how Long does it take to fix this Problem? In any case, it doesn't look like any flights on that route have 5 Award seats Available.

Das Problem der fehlenden Award-Plätze? Wird wohl nicht gelöst werden....

Ach wirklich?
- Einziges Tool für (komfortable) *A Awards-Abfrage (DM)
Thanks for sharing your findings -- looking forward to welcoming you back on board in the near future .
Why is kvs Not adding the Award/Upgrade search into the mobile Companion?
The KVS Tool Mobile Companion is designed to handle the most common on-the-go tasks (currently Flight Availability, Timetables, Operational Flight Info, Seat Maps), and is not intended as a replacement for the main KVS Tool desktop application, which is too powerful (and complex) to be fully usable (or replicated) in a mobile format.

But it shouldn't be so difficult to integrate the Award availabilty into the mobile version. Honestly, i hate it, that i always need to use the kvs Client instead of using the mobile version.

Keep KVS running on your local PC @home and connect to it via TeamViewer. Voila: Mobile Award Queries!

I have logme in ignition for the Remote access. But your approach is too complicated.please add a GUI for Awards into the mobile Version. Thanks
Although i'd prefer a GUI in the mobile version too. ;-) Remote via mobile phone consumes a lot of traffic and you're not always blessed with 3G or unlimited GB. So that's nothing but a work-around.The main KVS Tool application needs a 'proper' machine (PC or Mac Desktop/Laptop/NetBook) to run on -- a mobile/tablet device is not sufficient.
However, as SlRlUS had already mentioned, you can use a remote access solution for this.
