I have another idea, can someone tell me registration number for other boring 737-800s used in other flights between cairo and hurghada on the same day?
here's all line entries of libhomeradar with "MS", "MSR" or "Egypt" from this day, you can search and filter your aircrafts of interest for yourself.
As you can see, most tracks are for wide bodies and international flights, for the simple (assumed) reasons of "no / not enough scanners inland Egypt..."
Thank you this really helped so much in the exclusion! I hope I am getting closer to finding the correct registration for the flight
2017-04-17 Egyptair MSR270 HRG CAI 20:40 21:40 (EET) Boeing 737-800
A side note is that I found photos I took from the plane’s window while it was flying, from as early as 21:18 EET and as late as 21:50EET, so the plane probably took off somewhat later than what was in the ticket (20:40)
I checked the file that has the MSR flights on April 17, 2017, and after looking up the flights’ takeoff and landing times using flightaware:
(All times below are in EET)
SU-GCM: ruled out because it arrived cairo from Rome at 21:40
SU-GCN : ruled out because it arrived cairo from amsterdam at 20:45
SU-GCO : ruled out because it departed cairo to aswan at 22:10
SU-GCP : ruled out because it arrived cairo from mxp at 21:13
SU-GCR : unlikely because it arrived cairo from cas at 19:38
SU-GCS : ruled out because it arrived cairo from beirut at 20:40
SU-GCZ: ruled out because it arrived kuwait at 17:30, and no direct flights found from kuwait to hurghada
SU-GDA: ruled out because it arrived cairo from amm at 20:55
SU-GDB : ruled out because it departed cairo to nairobi at 21:55
SU-GDC: still a possibility, as it arrived cairo at 15:45
SU-GDD: a little unlikely but still possible i guess? it arrived cairo from alg at 18:46
SU-GDE: still a possibility as no flights found yet
SU-GDX : highly unlikely because it arrived cairo from spain at 20:18
And the B738 planes from SU-GDY to SU-GEN have different looking tray tables different from the try table in the photos I took inside the plane, so they are already ruled out.
So that leaves the possibilities of 4 aircrafts?
SU-GDC, SU-GDD (but a little unlikely), SU-GDE, and SU-GCR (also unlikely)
For SU-GDE, as I didn’t find any flights for it on that day, if no flights are found for it on the surrounding days too then it might have been “parked” then, and if it was, then this would rule SU-GDE out, so if someone can check if SU-GDE was active in April 2017 that can be great (mean it have flown then)
List is narrowed down to 4 aircrafts: SU-GDC, SU-GDD (but a little unlikely), SU-GDE, and SU-GCR (also unlikely), if my calculations were correct.
I hope I can narrow it down even more till i find the correct registration
Correct me if I was wrong in any of the above statements
I am looking for a few missing registrations myself. They are as follows:

These are a bit difficult to find since they don't have ACARS logs. But if anyone can find these from any other sources I'm not aware of, I'll really appreciate it.

Do you have entry files similar to this from days in the same week as April 17, 2017? (For example April 16, 2017, April 18, 2017, etc)
I am trying to find out whether a specific plane (Registration SU-GDE) was active or parked at that time. Because if it was parked then I would rule it out. As I didn’t find any flights for it on April 17, 2017
I have checked it, and I have ruled out SU-GDE because it seems like it was parked as I checked from april 9 to april 23 and didnt find any flights for it. so I need to ask:
so that leaves SU-GCR, SU-GDC and SU-GDD, as the only possibilities left (as the rest of egyptair’s boeing 737-800s were ruled out because either they had other flights at or very close to the time of my flight, or their tray table looked totally different from the tray table in the photos that I took)
But, on april 17, 2017: (times are according to Flightaware):
SU-GCR arrived to cairo airport’s gate from casablanca at 19:38 EET
And SU-GDD arrived to cairo airport’s gate from algeria at 18:46 EET
While SU-GDC arrived to cairo’s gate at 15:45 EET and didnt find later flights for it.
And, on my electronic ticket it says flight take off is at 20:40 EET and landing is at 21:40 EET. But I found photos I took while the plane was flying, one at 21:18 EET and one at 21:50 EET , and one at 21:50 EET, according to the photo’s location at the map it looks like it was 4-7 minutes away from landing.
So I need to ask, Should it be solved now as SU-GDC?? Or is SU-GDD still possible?? Did SU-GDD have enough time to fly back to hurghada then fly again from hurghada for my trip? And what about SU-GDR? What do you think?
my flight is
2017-04-17 MSR270 HRG-CAI (20:40 according to electronic ticket but probably took off later than that) B738 Randomusername9
I do not follow (completely, I read it, but don't dive into it) your exclusion.
One thing to mind is "the fact it's not present in one source is not a full exclusion criteria."
It could have flown on some untraced domestic or other inland flights (like to Hurghada and back) multiple times.
Hence I would recommend to wait, maybe someone here having FR24 or FA access could check for you on SU-GDC and SU-GDD, if any traces during the mentioned periods?
To bother you with some more technical information:
Here's all flights tracked in OpenSkyNetworks for SU-GDC (this is icao 01010b) for the period of 15. April 2017 00:00:00 (CET) - 20. April 2017 00:00:00 (CET)
If you want to get the exact timing, use the https://www.epochconverter.com/ and enter the first seen / last seen time stamp

Thank you so much! sadly these don’t cover the time of my flight which took off near 9pm EET
And it is SU-GDE that I didn’t find any flights for therefore i thought it was probably parked and ruled it out
Hey I think you misunderstood
The fact that there are no traces for any flights for SU-GDE at that time period, I was saying that it might mean that the plane SU-GDE was inactive at that time which means it is excluded and so SU-GDE is not the registration I am looking for
And that leaves only two possible registrations which are SU-GDC and SU-GDD, but I found out from HERE that SU-GDD landed in Cairo and arrived at the gate at 18:46 EET to the gate which is about two hours before the time my flight was supposed to take off from hurghada (20:40pm EET time). But according to my photos, my plane was in the air at 21:18pm eet and was still in the air also at 21:50pm eet. So I am not sure whether according to this should I rule out SU-GDD or not, because if I rule it out then the correct registration for my flight should be SU-GDC because it would be the only possible registration left as all others were ruled out

I would like to thank you again for this because it helped me narrow down the possible registrations of flight MSR270 (HRG to CAI) on 17/4/2017 to only two registrations: SU-GDC and SU-GDD (With SU-GDC being more likely because SU-GDD landed in CAI about 2 and half hours before my flight took off)
I want to ask you do you have a similar file for July 22, 2011 and/or July 23, 2011 which includes the list of all recorded egyptair flights on that day, with registration of the aircraft of each flight? I would like to try the exclusion technique also on the MSR5746 flight on July22, 2011 . It can help me narrow down a lot, or even find the correct reg if I am lucky!
Great update: I found an old ticket for that flight and yes MSR 288 is the correct flight number, so yes SU-GEA must be the correct registration thank you so much!

Hi everyone, here are two more flights that I would like to know the tail number for:
A) 2010-11-11 SV0308 CAI-JED Saudi airlines 02:55-05:55 (but flight was so delayed and took off way later than that) Randomusername9
B) 2010-11-26 SV0335 JED-CAI Saudi airlines 20:10 21:25 Randomusername9
under the assumption the B744 flew on over night to BRU and was tracked to JFK, next day in Spain.
Would need some detailed follow up by the flight schedule pros here.

Lt. Flightmemory flog LH502 und LH508 über GIG. Da der 03.08.82 ein Dienstag war, könnte es LH502 sein. Für den 11.07.82 (Sonntag) könnte es dann die LH509 (Rückflug von LH508) sein
