Hotels moving up a catagory with existing member bookings:
Existing members reward night bookings are not affected if the hotel`s category changes upward. bookings already made are not affected by the change. new bookings, on and after march 15th, 2014, will be at the new category level.
hotels moving down a category with existing member bookings:
Members can cancel their current reward night booking and book the night at the lower category level.
hotel invoices:
due to the hotel categories changing on march, 15, 2014, the loyality program invoices for club carlson and mileage earning will have revised cut-off dates for the months of march and april, 2014.
- march invoice activity dates: from march,1, 2014 to march 14, 2014; this invoice will be issued in mid-april and will reimburse redemption nights at the hotel`s 2013 category.
- april invoice activity dates: from march,15, 2014 to april 30, 2014; this invoice will be issued in mid-may and will reimburse redemption nights at the hotel`s new 2014 category.
New club carlson design:
Club Carlson Membership cards have been updated wiht a new card design. you will continue to see both the new previous card designs, as not every member will automatically receive a newly designed card. members that will automatically receive the updated card are:
- members that have a card that due to expire in 2014
- any new web enrollment
- a member that has earned elite status in 2014

How can a family room be booked?
it can be booked via the web site through the normal award night booking process. in addition, it can be booked through the voice channel.
online booking bonus:
Will a member earn the online booking bonus if they booked a stay prior to march 15th, but the actual stay doesn`t occur after 15th?
A meber will earn the online booking status if they made the reservation before march 15th, no matter when the stay is. any online booking made on or after march 15th will not receive a bonus, unless it`s part of a promotion.
Can a concierge elite member use the global concierge service after march 15th?
- Actually the global concierge service is being discontinued as of march 1, 2014. Concierge elite members that have used the service in the past will receive an email alerting them of the change. if they have any questions, they can contact member services
If a silver or a gold member has booked a stay prior to march 15th, but the stay itself is after march 15th, will they receive the ne elite bonus? (15%/35%)
- If the stay depards prior march 15th, silver elite members wil earn a 25% points bonus and gold members will earn a 50% point bonus - no matter when the stay is processed for points.
If a stay departs on or after march 15th, silver member wil earn a 15% point bonus and gold elite will earn 35%.
