Bei Marrakesch gibt es seit kurzem das "Eden Andalou Aquapark & Spa under Marriott International" (den Namen hätte man auch besser lösen können ).
Scheint wohl unter der Marke Delta zu laufen und ist ein All-Inclusive-Hotel mit Wasserpark.
Bewertungen online aus der Vergangenheit waren eher durchwachsen.

Das ist schade. War drei mal dort und es war jedes Mal ein Erlebnis.

Das Conrad New York Midtown wechselt zurück zu Marriott. Vor 10 Jahren bereits war das Hotel unter dem Namen JW Rihga Royal Teil von Marriott, dieses Mal wird es als Luxury Collection zur Kette hinzustossen.

Rückkehrer: Das ehemalige 4Points in Zürich Sihl City lässt sich unter dem klingenden Namen "The Home Hotel Zürich, a Member of Design Hotels" ab dem 5. August 2024 wieder buchen.

Wirkt auf den Bildern wie ein auf edel getrimmtes Moxy. Aber die Kellerfenster in den Zimmern sehen noch unverändert aus wie zu 4Points Zeiten.

Am Bahnhof Verona Puerta Nuova wird aktuell ein Moxy hochgezogen. Lage für Zugreisende deshalb ideal, aber auch zur Arena ist es nicht weit (20min zu Fuß).

Da wird dann wohl eine andere Kette einziehen. Aus meiner Sicht kein großer Verlust. Im vergleichbaren Preis-Segment sah ich das Sheraton Grand oder das Westin immer vorne, auch wenn in Letzterem die Zimmer etwas größer sein könnten. Für Bonvoy-Mitglieder gibt es in Warschau nach wie vor die volle Auswahl.

Sehr schade. Es war das einzige Bonvoy-Hotel in Warschau, welches während der Corona-Pest konsequent die Lounge offenhielt.

Trifft in dem Fall jetzt eventuell nicht 100% zu , dennoch auffällig:

..Marriott macht künftig einfach auch noch die Stadthotles zu Resorts (oder Vacation Clubs) , dann brauchen sie Ihren Elites ausser einem "Smile beim CI" bald gar nichts mehr an Perks abzutreten.
