Your Diamond Club membership
Can I keep my Diamond Club membership?
As of 16 May 2010, your Diamond Club membership will cease to exist.
Instead we are offering you a ‘status match' into Miles & More, the leading frequent flyer
programme in Europe operated by Lufthansa in partnership with Adria Airways,
Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines,
Luxair and SWISS International Air Lines, where you will receive the equivalent
membership status that you currently enjoy within Diamond Club.
When does my Diamond Club account close?
Your Diamond Club membership will be live until 16 May 2010 and you can still earn miles until this date.
Any missing miles need to be claimed prior to this date to ensure they are reflected in your final miles balance.
Claims made after 16 May 2010 will need to be made through Miles & More.
What will happen to my Diamond Club destinations miles?
We are offering a complete mileage balance transfer service over to Miles & More
[B][COLOR="Red"]at a rate of 1 Diamond Club destinations mile for 1 Miles & More award mile.[/COLOR][/B]
What will happen to my online account at flybmi.com?
Your online profile with bmi will still exist, so you will still be able to sign in to see your personal details,
including any other memberships you may have with bmi special offers or Company Rewards.
Access to your Diamond Club account online will cease to exist after 16 May 2010 inline with the account closure.

How do I join Lufthansa Miles & More?
It's easy to join.
Simply click on the link matching the country you have listed as your primary
Diamond Club contact address and follow the instructions from there.
Israel: Enrol now
Netherlands: Enrol now
Ukraine: Enrol now
As soon as you join you will be eligible for the status match and miles transfer offer.
Remember to take note of your 15 digit temporary Miles & More card number which you'll
receive by email after fulfilling the online enrolment.
Can I still fly with bmi and earn miles in Miles & More?
Yes you can still fly with bmi, and you'll earn award and status miles with your Miles & More membership.
What's the process if I'm already a member of Miles & More?
You must register for the offer to transfer your Diamond Club miles using your existing
Miles & More card number, you have until midnight 13 May 2010 to register.
If you enjoy a higher status in Miles & More than in Diamond Club, the Miles & More status
remains the same with an unchanged validity, and no new Miles & More card will be issued.
If your current Miles & More status is lower than your Diamond Club status, your status will
be matched and you'll receive a new Miles & More status card. As soon as you have received
the card, you will be able to enjoy all related benefits.
[B][COLOR="Red"]Your status will be valid until February 2012, so you have one full calendar year in 2011 to re-qualify.[/COLOR][/B]
How can I earn miles prior to receipt of my new Miles & More Card?
Please enter your temporary Miles & More card number in each booking.
Keep all receipts (passenger receipt, boarding passes, hotel or car invoices) until they are shown on your account statement.
How long will my miles be valid?
Destinations miles transferred are valid for three years.
