As you’ve noticed, the App is now live again for the majority of members, minus Card features. Thank you again for your patience.
So what now?
1. Some accounts are locked, review underway
We are currently conducting a review of accounts with our Card Issuer and Processor. Unfortunately, this requires that we lock a number of accounts based on a certain type of card transaction (this is btw not related to Card Spend Rewards). We expect to find that the vast majority of locked members have acted completely in good faith, and it’s unfortunate that many of those affected are active and positive contributors to this group.
To ensure the review is thorough, we will review and unlock accounts on a case-by-case basis, we kindly ask for your patience while we work through this.
2. We will provide more details
We are preparing an official statement to share with the community which will provide more detail on the reasons for our App downtime over the past 24 hours. This also involves input from our partners.
3. We will provide a timeline and next steps
For the resumption of normal card services. At this stage, please expect that it will take a few days to unlock all remaining accounts.
Once again, we apologise for the downtime, and reiterate that we take these actions only in the best interests of safeguarding the platform and community, and in spite of the clear inconvenience this causes affected members.
