Today November 12, 2012, SAS has presented a plan that will create a future-oriented SAS. The comprehensive plan includes reduction of our costs and sales of assets – something that is necessary for facing the future in an industry undergoing big changes.
There has been media speculation recently as to whether SAS will be selling EuroBonus. It is therefore necessary to emphasise that EuroBonus is one of SAS's offers to its loyal customers and an integral part of our company, today and into the future. The plan we presented today will not mean changes for you as a customer and traveller – we will be flying to the same destinations with the standard of service you are accustomed to expect from SAS. In the same way, we will continue to develop simple-to-use products that make your trip easier, and our fleet will continue to be renewed so that by the beginning of 2014 the entire SAS fleet will be Next Generation.
