Hm. In der A6-EMW saß ich vor ein paar Jahren auch schon.

Kompliment an die Crew, wenn tatsächlich alle rechtzeitig ohne Schaden evakuiert werden konnten.

Da sieht man mal wieder, dass Flugbegleiter doch mehr drauf haben müssen als Kellner...

Upon contacting tower tower reminded the crew of lowering the gear and cleared the aircraft to land. Another approach reported on tower frequency. About 2 minutes after EK-521 reported on tower tower instructed the aircraft to climb to 4000 feet (no go-around call heard from the crew), the crew acknowledged climbing to 4000 feet, a few seconds later tower instructs the next arrival to go around and alerts emergency services. The position of the aircraft is described near the end of the runway."

Die EK054 MUC-DXB ist über Ungarn umgedreht und ist nun wieder auf dem Weg nach MUC.

Nun gut, es sind gerade 1,5h seit dem Unfall vergangen, da ist noch vieles diffus. Ich hoffe, es bestätigt sich die bisher übereinstimmende Nachricht, dass niemand ernsthaft zu Schaden gekommen ist!

Mir erscheint "no reported injuries" bei der Evakuierung nach Bruchlandung eines Widebodies mit Feuer als unrealistisch. "No reported major injuries" ja, aber "no reported injuries" glaubt doch nur das dortige Propagandaministerium oder die PR-Abteilung von EK.

Noch geht es ja noch vom Flugverkehr, richtig voll wird es dann heute Abend, je nach dem wie flott sie aufgeräumt bekommen. Und Abflüge heute Abend ex Europa werden wohl nicht klappen.
