Emirates fliegt wieder nach Buenos Aires und Rio de Janeiro​

Die Golfairline hat ihre Flüge zu zwei südamerikanischen Zielen wieder aufgenommen. Sie waren zuvor aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie ausgesetzt worden. Die viermal wöchentlich stattfindenden Flüge von Dubai nach Rio de Janeiro mit Weiterflug nach Buenos Aires werden als EK247/EK248 durchgeführt. Emirates führt sie mit Boeing 777 durch.

"Aus betrieblichen Gründen." Über die Rückkehr des A380 werde nach dem Winterflugplan zu gegebener Zeit informiert (im Sommer kommt der garantiert nicht zurück!).
Ist schon aktuell, mein bevorstehender Abendflug ist bereits auf B777 umgestellt, also nichts mit Dusche.

Die Pandemie war offenbar für viele eine echt traumatische Erfahrung. Jetzt wollen die Leute die Welt sehen, bevor irgendetwas anderes passiert. Dass Reisen bei den Bedürfnissen ganz oben steht, sehen wir auch in vielen Umfragen.

Emirates hat ihre Lackierung erneuert. Als erstes Flugzeug trägt der A380 A6-EOE die neue Lackierung; Erstflug der A6-EOE in der neuen Lackierung ist für morgen auf EK51 nach MUC geplant.

Eagle-eyed plane spotters and fans will immediately notice changes to the tailfin and wingtips. In this latest design, the UAE flag on the Emirates tailfin is much more dynamic and flowing with a 3D effect artwork, and the wingtips have been painted red with the Emirates logo in Arabic calligraphy “popping” out in reverse white. Passengers onboard with a window view will see the UAE flag colours painted on the wingtips facing the fuselage.

The signature gold “Emirates” lettering across the main body in English and Arabic is also bolder, and 32.5% larger. On the aircraft belly, Emirates has retained its iconic red branding which it introduced in 2005. The website URL “Emirates.com” has been dropped from the design.

Nach einer umbaubedingten Schliessung ist die Emirates Lounge am Flughafen Zürich (Dock E) ab sofort wieder für Fluggäste geöffnet. Nach den Renovierungsarbeiten hat sie neues Mobiliar in cremefarbenem Leder.

Insgesamt bietet die Lounge 123 Sitzplätze. Die 800 Quadratmeter grosse Einrichtung, die im Jahr 2008 eröffnet wurde, ist nach wie vor die grösste einer ausländischen Airline am Flughafen Zürich.

EK mit A380 nach Denpasar/Bali ab Juni...

Emirates has revealed that the Airbus A380 will be used to Denpasar Bali from June, one of 49 airports, to see the double-decker this summer. It will be the first Indonesian airport to have A380 flights. Despite Denpasar's equipment change, daily seats for sale won't surpass Emirates' previous record.

Beginning on June 1st, one of Emirates' double daily Dubai-Denpasar flights will now use the A380. The two-class, 615-seat configuration will be deployed, replacing the 777-300ER.
