hmmmm, :confused:

die Strecke LAX-SFO-LAS-PHX-BOS-SJU und zurück bringt, wenn durchgehend A, ca. 32800 Meilen (+Exec) bei M&M.

Und das alles für ca. 600,- Euro ? Wäre eine schöne Gelegenheit meinen SEN bis 2014 zu verlängern und so nebenher noch ein paar Tage Urlaub auf Puerto Rico zu machen .....

Bin, so wie es bis jetzt aussieht, im März auch in LAX .....

Wie lange vorher sollte man das denn buchen (lassen) ??

Sind eigentlich alle 757 (767 wurde ja von rcs schon bestätigt) von US auch im Langstrecken-Config, also mit Envoy?

Denn Mitte April/Mai fliegt auf BOS/CLT/PHL-SJU laut ITA keine 767 mehr, sondern A319/A320/B757.

So, ich habe die Buchung jetzt mal mit D und Z probiert, geht beides nicht. Nur C, das wird dann aber irrwitzig teuer. Also habe ich C eingebucht und das Segment nachträglich manuell auf A geändert. Das wurde seltsamerweise akzeptiert und auch gepreist. LAX(UA PS A)-JFK(US Y)-PHL(US A)-SJU kostete so 465,88 EUR, weil das System automatisch AA0UPR preist. Per "Agent Fare Override" kann ich allerdings auch AA0UPN preisen, kostet dann 326,88 EUR.

Ehe ich sowas ausstelle, würde ich auf jeden Fall kurz RCS fragen.

Würde es das auch nur bis JKF oder PHL geben? Ohne den SJU Leg? Alles in A
Wäre das preislich attraktiv?

Nein, die guenstigen Y-Up Tarife sind zumeist auf Destinationen ausserhalb des Mainstream zugeschnitten. Die Transcons sind noch immer die Goldesel der Fluggesellschaften und daher wird es auf diesen Routen kaum Angebote geben.

Wobei ich es auf der anderen Seite auch wieder nicht verstehe denn der ueberwiegende Teil der Pax (JFK ausgenommen) in den F Kabinen hat fuer das Upgrade nichts bezahlt, dann doch lieber mit attraktiven Tarifen ein paar mehr $$$ einnehmen.

Hab das Forum schon länger verfolgt und nun mich angemeldet! (Bei so guten Tipps kein Wunder)

Ist so ein MR noch buchbar? Würde so einen MR gerne Ex-SEA Ende Mai machen, falls möglich..

Großartig wäre noch ein meilenoptimiertes routing nach SEA von VIE.

All in all soll es nicht teurer als 1500 € werden. (Flug von VIE nach SEA + der MR)

Gibt es Reisebüro Tipps für Wien oder darf ich mich an das "Reisebüro eures Vertrauen" (per PM) dafür wenden?

Tja, auf die 150$ werde ich im Fall der Fälle wohl verzichten müssen. :mad:
Manchmal kann man die eigene zeitliche Verfügbarkeit nur schlecht vorhersehen.

LAX-SJU-LAX kostete 686€ und die ONT-TPA-ONT Runs haben jeweils 394€ gekostet. Zusammen also 1474€ reine Flugkosten. Dafür gibts zumindest für mich mit BMI 55+ insgesamt gut 120.000 Meilen.

LAX-SJU-LAX ist mehrheitlich auf US in F und ONT-TPA-ONT ist mehrheitlich auf UA F.

Ich finde die US F ist auch durchaus auszuhalten. Hauptargument bei mir ist immer das Platzangebot. Service ist mir nicht so wichtig.
So sitze ich lieber in US F als z.B. in der F an Bord der recht engen United 767 mit Domestic-Bestuhlung.

Das schlechteste Essen an Bord eines Flugzeuges hab ich bisher in einer US F bekommen. Und das schliesst meine Selbstverpflegung bei Flügen mit C172 & Co mit ein. :eek:
